YOU'VE GOT QUESTIONS, WE'VE GOT ANSWERS.

Why is everything so expensive when it comes to designer clothes?

There is a variety of answers to this one which when broken down can really make sense. For example; designer’s fabric choices, higher-end fabrics such as silk will drive up the price quite a bit but is so worth it! Fancy buttons, rhinestones, zippers and various trim pieces can cost up to $45 each,  and some fabrics can reach $200 per yard or more!  You get what you pay for, we have all had those cheap zippers break on us…um no thank you!  Also, these finishing touches can make the outfit.  It’s all in the details! Manufacturing and fair-wage practices also play a large roll in pricing. Let’s not forget that retailers have also trained their customers to wait for the sale. Some designers know that their pieces will be on sale almost as soon as they hit stores, and will mark up their original prices to compensate for such things. Lucky for you Foxbait does not participate in that trend :) Last but not least, sometimes the answer is simple…because they can. Not fair, but a designer’s name alone can fetch the high prices we are talking about. We are all guilty of purchasing something we knew was overpriced but just had to have it. It's in our blood.

We at Foxbait believe that buying well made clothing is money in the bank and do not participate in overinflation and slash wars in retail. We offer trend setting, fashion forward, comfortable clothing that is designed and Made in Los Angeles. We hope you enjoy!
